Description

In ancient Rome, the bulla was an amulet that families would place around the neck of every male child nine days after birth. Its primary function was to protect the child from evil forces and spirits.

To me, however, the bulla is not merely an amulet: it is also a symbol of connection to our most authentic childlike self , the part of us that allows us to see the world with ever-new eyes and to continue to feel wonder.

For girls there was Lunula instead

JEWELRY CARE

To clean your jewelry, prepare a solution of lukewarm water and soap with a bit of lemon juice, let them soak for ten minutes, gently brush them before rinsing with lukewarm water, and dry them with a chamois or a soft cloth. In case of stains, apply a mixture of diluted baking soda in a small amount of water, lemon juice, or toothpaste to a used soft brush, after gently scrubbing the jewelry, rinse it with clean water and dry it with a cloth. If stains persist, rub with a cloth dampened with a mixture of vinegar and ammonia. In case of black stains, soak the silver for 15 minutes in a mixture of hot water and vinegar. If the silver tarnishes, immerse the jewelry for a few minutes in a solution of coarse salt and hot water in an aluminum-lined bowl, then dry with a soft cloth.

Take care of GOLD Clean your jewelry with a sponge soaked in water and soap, then rinse them thoroughly and dry them with a chamois or microfiber cloth. For a deeper cleaning, dilute some baking soda in lukewarm water. Soak the jewelry for 10 minutes, scrub them with a soft brush, then rinse with warm clean water before polishing them with a chamois or a soft cloth.
