To clean gemstones, simply gently scrub them with a toothbrush and dish soap, rinse them, then dry them thoroughly and polish them with a jeweler's cloth or a microfiber cloth. For emeralds, the most delicate gemstone, avoid using soap, detergents, or even water. You can gently rub the stone with a jeweler's cloth or a microfiber cloth.

To clean your jewelry, prepare a solution of lukewarm water and soap
with a bit of lemon juice, let them soak for ten minutes, gently brush
them before rinsing with lukewarm water, and dry them with a chamois or a soft cloth. In case of stains, apply a mixture of diluted baking soda in a small amount of water, lemon juice, or toothpaste to a used soft brush, after gently scrubbing the jewelry, rinse it with clean water and dry it with a cloth. If stains persist, rub with a cloth dampened with a mixture of vinegar and ammonia. In case of black stains, soak the silver for 15 minutes in a mixture of hot water and vinegar. If the silver tarnishes, immerse the jewelry for a few minutes in a solution of coarse salt and hot water in an aluminum-lined bowl, then dry with a soft cloth.
